Trashy Games is a one-person indie studio. The name is a cheeky nod to scrappy beginnings, but the games are made with everything I've got.
I'm Jefrey: designer, programmer, artist and one-man marketing team behind Trashy Games. Right now I'm building Beyond Horizon, a bullet-hell arcade shooter wrapped in an anime story, in the Godot engine.
I don't have a big team or a big budget. What I have is the freedom to make exactly the games I want to play, and a wish to help other indie developers get theirs out into the world too. If that's you, the studio door is open.
From the first sketch to the launch trailer, it all runs through one desk.
Mechanics, levels, bosses, balance: the feel of every run.
Gameplay, tools, and the engine glue that holds it together.
The look, the effects, the soundtrack, the spectacle and the vibe.
Store pages, trailers, and getting games, mine and yours, in front of players.
Design, code, art, audio, coffee. Builds Beyond Horizon and runs everything else.
Chief morale officer. Approves builds with a tail wag, vetoes them with a howl.
Tuning the bullet-hell arcade shooter, stage by stage, in Godot.
Preparing the store page, a trailer, and getting playable builds into people's hands.
Taking on a small number of fellow indies to publish, any genre, real care.
Whether you're a developer with a pitch or a player with an idea, I'd love to hear from you.
